The 1945 Axtell Genealogy included many photographs on separate pages inserted near the relevant biographical entry. The original price of the hardcover edition was $10, more than a day's wages. The soft cover reprints omitted the photos. Here are low resolution (72 dot-per-inch) scans in the order they appear. I retyped the captions so that they're readable. I've omitted several baby pictures of living Axtells.

To all People to whom these Pesents [should be Presents] shall come, Greeting, Know ye That J Nathan Brigham of Marlborough In the County of Middlesex In his Majesties Province of the Massachusestts Bay in New England Gentn -- [gentleman]

For and in Consideration of the Sum of one thousand Pounds in lawfull money of New England to me in hand before the Ensealing hereof, well and truly paid by Thomas Axtel of Marlborough In the County and Province aforesaid yeoman-- the Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and my self therewith fully satisfied and contented, and thereof, and of every part and parcel thereof, do exonerate, acquit and discharge him the said Thomas Axtel -- his-- Heirs, Executors and Administrators for ever by these Presents : HAVE given, granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed ad confirmed, and by the Presents, Do freely, fully and absolutely give, grant, bargain, sell, aliene, convey and confirm, unto him-- the said Thomas Axtel and to his-- Heirs and Assigns for ever

A Certain Tract of land scituate in Hassanamisco in ye county of Worcester & Province aforesaid containing in ye whole one hundred & fifty five acres be the same more or less sixty acres thereof with a house and barn thereon is a part of Willards farm bounded westwardly by ye land of Simeon Willard southerly partly by sd Willard and and partly by ye land of Samuel Cooper westwardly by sd Willard & Cooper land eastwardly and southerly on ye said farm line northwardly by ye land of Joseph Willard and Saml Cooper also nineteen acres of land lying on ye west side of long meadow in said farm bounded southerly by ye sd Cooper meadow easterly & northerly by sd land & meadow of Joseph Willard westerly by the farm line more also seventy six acres of land & meadow lying southerly of Willards Farm & partly in it fifty one acres thereof is bounded east by the thirty second lott west by ye Minister[?] lot & school lott south on lot number seventy one & north on Willards farm line more fourteen acres thereof in land and meadow adjoyning is bounded westerly on ye farm line northerly on ye land of Simeon and Willard having a four Rod way running through it and eleven acres more adjoyning which makes ye seventy five acres and in ye whole one hundred thirty five acres is bounded southerly on ye Minister[?] twenty acre lott westerly[?] on ye land of Willard or Joseph Fromet bounded as aforesaid or however otherewayes bounded nowsaid[?] to be bounded with whatsoever is growing standing or lying thereon--

To have and to hold, the said granted and bargained Premisses, with all the Appurtenances, Priviledges and Commodities to the same belonging, or in any wise appertaining to him- the said Thomas Axtel and to his-- Heirs and Assigns for ever. To his and their only proper Use, Benefit and Behoof for ever. And I the said Nathan Brigham-- for myself my Heirs, Executors and Administrators, do Covenant, Promise and Grant to and with him the said Thomas Axtel his-- Heirs and Assigns that before the Ensealing hereof, I am the true, sole and lawful Owner of the above-bargained Premisses, and am lawfully seized and possessed of the same in my own proper Right, as a good, perfect and absolute Estate of Inheritance in Fee Simple : And have in myself good Right, full Power, and lawful Authority, to grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm, said bargained Premisses, in manner as aforesaid : And that the said Thomas Axtel his-- Heirs and Assigns, shall and may from Time to Time, and at all Times forever hereafter, by force and virtue of these Presents, lawfully, peaceably and quietly Have, Hold, Use, Occupy, Possess and Enjoy the said demised and bargained Premisses, with the Appurtenances free and clear, and freely and clearly acquitted, exonerated and discharged of, from, all and all manner of former or other Gifts, Grants, Bargains, Sales, Leases, Mortgages, Wills, Entails, Joyntures, Dowries, Judgments, Executions, or Incumbrances of what Name or Nature soever, that might in any measure or degree obstruct or make void this present Deed.

Furthermore, I the said Nathan Brigham-- for my self my Heirs, Executors and Administrators, do Covenant and Engage the above demised Premisses to him the said Thomas Axtel and to his-- Heirs and Assigns, against the lawful Claims or Demands of any Person or Persons whatsover, forever hereafter to Warrant, Secure and Defend by these Presents. In witness whereof I the said Nathan Brigham have here unto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of February one thousand seven hundred and thirty three four and in ye seventh year of ye Reign of our Sovereign lord George the second by ye Grace of God of Great Britain France & Ireland & King Defendor of ye faith &c
